schoolchildren
Parcours de l’art offers an ever-increasing number of programs to welcome school groups, who come in large numbers each year. This year's event welcomed over 1,000 students who enjoyed dedicated sessions filled with artistic discovery.
Mornings on the short course
Workshops for schoolchildren .
Eight randomly selected classes participated in a workshop entitled "Invasion of the Mossy Fountain !" created and led by designer Louise Jumelin. The workshop took place around the fountain adorning the center of the cloister.
In a playful and narrative way, the children were invited to create floating boats. These were then photographed to reveal the staging of their arrival on a virgin and uninhabited island.
Guided tours
Tailor-made mediations offered by the young people of Classe Départ (artistic and civic training for young adults ) to schoolchildren allowed a virtuous dialogue with the young people and children, creating an immediacy of exchanges, the proximity of ages allowing empathy for the children and a gain of confidence for the young adults of Classe Départ.
Projections
Screenings for middle and high school students were programmed in the morning throughout the festival at the Utopia cinema to discover the educational short films "The Little Secrets of Great Paintings" which probe the history, production and artistic universe of a work.
Self-guided tours
The exhibition spaces were opened exclusively to primary school classes to allow students to discover the works, pique their curiosity and nourish their questioning.
Educational materials were created and sent in advance to assist teachers in preparing for their visit.
