Welcoming and being welcomed, like the ebb and flow of a wave, could become a metaphor for a true ecology of relationships. An ecology founded on alternation, listening, attention, and esteem, on curiosity about difference and complementarity, where welcoming the other is no longer a source of fear, but of transformation and enrichment.
How can we imagine a world free from alienating borders, where artists, guardians of a fragile balance, are both observers and activists of a collective thought in motion? By exploring new ways of inhabiting the world, they develop imagined senses of belonging, invent sensitive tools, and open up perspectives for tackling the challenges of the future together. Their works weave together cross-disciplinary communities that unite and create spaces of resonance.
The city's second cultural festival after THE Avignon Festival, this unmissable autumn event, affectionately nicknamed "the huge little festival", continues to assert its place in the artistic landscape and to welcome All Saints' Day holidaymakers in the mildness of the Provençal Indian summer.
For the duration of a festival, we invite you for this 32nd edition to celebrate these hospitalitys through exhibitions, meetings, screenings, performances in the most beautiful heritage sites of Avignon, from the church of the Celestines to the chapel of Cordeliers via the Éveilleur, the Espace YiiiiiiY, the Petit Paradis gallery, the chapel of the Saint-Martial temple, the Maison Paisible - EPHAD Centre d'Art.
For its 32nd edition, the Art Trail invites Avignon to celebrate "Hospitality". Exhibitions, meetings, screenings and performances will bring contemporary art to life in several heritage sites throughout the city.
This autumn event invites the public to discover national and international artists, to question our relationship with others, and to explore new ways of inhabiting the world. By supporting the Art Trail, the South Region promotes an accessible, vibrant culture rooted in local communities, fostering connections and encouraging everyone to see the world differently.

With this 32nd edition of the Art Trail, Avignon becomes, for one autumn, a territory of encounters and shared experiences. In the city's heritage sites, artists, residents, and visitors are invited to explore new ways of inhabiting the world.
For ten days, exhibitions, residencies, performances, meetings, and participatory activities will take over several iconic locations in Avignon. This ambitious program testifies to the vitality of contemporary creation and its ability to permeate the entire region by fostering connections between artists, residents, school groups, associations, social and medical services, and cultural stakeholders.
The Vaucluse Department is delighted to support this unique event, which combines contemporary creation, artistic excellence, and accessibility for all.
