performance - students of Mont-Coton school
Partnerships established with the University of Avignon and the Swedish art school of Mont-Cotton have allowed future mediators and artists to compare their different proposals with field experiences.
Several performances were offered by students from the Mont-Cotton school - carried out with the artist Hippolyte Thillard, echoing the theme of the trace - and were accompanied by mediations set up by students from the Master Culture and Communication at Avignon University.
They also carried out a mediation project around the work presented by the exhibiting artist Juliette George. University students were able to collaborate with her and practice on site .
Tailor-made mediations offered by the young people of Classe Départ to schoolchildren allowed a virtuous dialogue with the young people and children, creating an immediacy of exchanges, the proximity of ages allowing empathy for the children and a gain of confidence for the young adults of Classe Départ (7-month artistic and civic training enabling young adults from QPVs who have dropped out to return to employment).
Free mediation sessions were offered over the weekend by art enthusiasts and volunteers who were happy to share their knowledge, feelings, and the exchanges they had with the artists.
